Where are lessons held?
Lessons take place in my purpose-built dance studio located in my garden in Hilsea. The studio has mirrors, a dance floor and plenty of space for safe training.
What styles of dance do you teach?
I offer ballet, contemporary and jazz alongside PBT. Have a look at the 'What I do' tab for more information. If you're not sure what you need, I'm happy to give recommendations based on your goal.
Do you teach beginners as well as advanced dancers?
Yes! I work with complete beginners through to advanced students. All sessions will be tailored to you!
How long is a lesson?
Most private lessons are 30, 60 or 90 minutes. This will depend on your age, experience and goals. Please contact me if you're not sure which length of session will best suit you!
What should I wear to class?
Comfortable dancewear is best, leotard and tights or leggings and a fitted top. Ballet shoes (or appropriate footwear for your chosen style) are recommended. Hair should be tied back.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
Please bring a water bottle. If you’re attending ballet and bring the right footwear. For competition coaching bring any relevant music.
Can parents watch lessons?
Parents are welcome to sit in, if they would like. If a child is easily distracted lessons could be more productive without an extra pair of eyes! I'm always happy to chat with parents afterwards.
